Musselshell Bridge
Bridge across Musselshell Creek where the Bird-Truax Trail started toward Lolo Pass. There has been a bridge at this location for at least 100 years. This landmark makes a good location for measuring distances on the Bird-Truax Trail 1866.

Aboriginal Trail - Lolo Forks
Northern Nez Perces Trail, on the nose of the ridge, east of Lolo Forks. Approximate location is: NAD 27, UTM, 601,490N, 5,138,173W. The photo is taken hiking eastward where there are two switchbacks on the ridge point just above Forest Road 5019.
