Selway Mountains in early-morning Fog
Photo taken looking southward from the trail juction of Roads 500 and 566. It was early morning after a night of heavy rain and thunderstorms. The Lochsa River valley is in the mid-ground of the photo. The main ridge between the Selway and Lochsa Rivers is the far ridge in the photo.

Low Bush Huckleberries
A great crop of Grouse Wortleberries or "low-bush" huckleberries {scientific name}. It was a great year for huckleberries of all types on the Lolo Trail. Cool weather and lots of rain produced
